How do I chose a collection for my needs?

The Mood Bank offers 18 different collections which can be used to help you achieve a more intentional lifestyle.  That is a lot to choose from!  Follow these steps to identify which one is right for you:

  1. Consider the following simple questions.  
  2. Click on collections to which you answer yes.
  3. The corresponding collection may be the right one for you!

Volume I: Calming Down
If you say yes to any of the following, click on the word to find if it is the right collection for you.
Do you want to improve your SLEEP, or your PATIENCE
Do you need to RELAX more, or improve your STRESS MANAGEMENT skills?

Are you concerned about ADHD or just need to FOCUS better?

Stress Management



Stress Management contains stress tips that are effective - physically, behaviorally, cognitively, and spiritually. The music provides a stable background for strengthening coping skills, to helping prevent negative effects of stress, when pressures/demands are high, when one has an overwhelmed feeling, or when stress is taking a toll physically/emotionally.

Sleep



The Sleep Booklet contains information on insomnia, sleep needs, sleep disorders, and effective tips for combating insomnia.  The soft, soothing CD music provides an atmosphere for improving sleep patterns - music to prepare your mood for sleep.  Use as an aid when feeling restless, or when racing thoughts and worries keep you awake.





Relaxation



The Relaxation Booklet contains information on relaxation techniques and their benefits. The Reflection Booklet contains information on reflecting, journaling activities, and their benefits. The music on the CD has meandering melodies which promote the free flow of one's mind.  Use as an aid for processing your thoughts and feelings, connecting with your inner self, or as background music to enhance writing and artistic efforts.  





Patience



Patience contains information on causes, negative effects of limited patience, and great ideas for improving! The music's deliberate yet relaxed beat serves an aid to help calm a restless mind, to help persevere in a difficult situation, to increase acceptance of change, when waiting seems difficult, when feeling a need to push for things to happen, or when one has a tendency to control or over-react. 

Focus


Focus
 contains information on ADD & ADHD--characteristics and ideas for managing your time, as well as tips for good decision-making. The music was recorded at 60 beats per minute, intended to aid in improving one's focus and concentration. Use for help to concentrate, or to help with decision-making, when external distractions are high, when decisions are difficult, or when feeling scattered.
